PSNI Gets Crooked Chief Constable

May 25, 2019

Bad news for Northern Ireland.  It has just been announced that Simon Byrne has been appointed as the next chief constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).

He may not have been found guilty of misconduct in a ridiculously expensive hearing, but unless it was all lies, the evidence painted a picture of a pretty unpleasant character.  He is certainly a crook in my view on the basis that he submitted a false statement of defence against my claim against him of malicious prosecution and had witnesses commit perjury in the course of the trial.  Couple that with the fact that he made excuses for his professional standards department not investigating a complaint properly and you have a real scumbag.  In my view he is a crook and not fit to be in the police service, let alone as chief constable.  Let’s hope they find a reason to sack him before he corrupts the service.

Hard luck, Northern Ireland, but at least we have him out of England.
